”Great staff and value for a comfortable and convenient property. Excellent location south of Asheville near Hendersonville and close to Flat Rock Playhouse. Continental breakfast is simple and basic but well cared for. Coffee quality is quite good and always available in the lobby.
A smart choice for budget conscious travelers, especially with kids and/or dogs.”

”We stayed here one year ago and all was good but on this trip we were given a room with a foul odor that smelled like wet carpet. The towels and wash cloths still looked dirty and the TV didn’t work. Thankfully there was other rooms available and the staff was more than helpful to give us another room. The only other issue was that the breakfast was not good at all and food that should have been kept warm was cold. We probably will not be back to this location again.”

”Beautiful historic property. Lots of neat history, almost like you're staying in a museum. Beautiful town, lake, beach, and close to a lot of restaurants, hiking trails, the marina, and parks. It's not a modern facility, but it has that cute historic vibe that's perfect for a weekend away. The pool is amazing.”

”Everything was great. Our family had a great stay. The one aspect that gave us pause was there’s a barn/sliding door for the bathroom. Having a door that closed would have been preferable. =0)”
