”This was a great place to stay for a night when going to a concert at Thunder Valley Casino. Loved that it was in a shopping center! Room was clean and comfortable.”

The location is wonderful as a rest stop, is next to an In-n-Out, and very close to the American River and wonderful natural hiking spots in Auburn! Thanks, Holiday Inn staff for being so awesome :)”

”Opened window smelled like cat or human pee closed window seams like the smell was coming in from outside shower door would not stay closed and toilet was not secured to floor bathroom door squeaked when opening it one of the frames of the bed made noise when you moved on it tree branches need to be trimmed needs help not sure if I will come back have used motel 6 for 30 years disappointed”

”Very basic and comfortable place to rest. This motel is on a very busy and loud(SUVs and motorcycles) corner at the gateway to the American River Rec. area. It is a very short stroll to Auburn historic downtown with pubs and excellent restaurants. It was Uber clean with a great shower. Somewhat worn but, again, location was excellent and wonderful helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.”

”Overhead lights not working, bathroom sink lights not working, broken concrete walkway outside door and the concrete chips were never swept. Room was not cleaned the second day of my stay…this used to be a good place to stay but quickly going downhill. Aside from this I felt the room was at least clean but too much not taken care of.”

”The toilet in my room was broken took them four hours to get us in another room we were traveling and paid for three days in advance, trying to get a hold of management was almost impossible”

”The room had pubic hairs in the bathroom! And the tub needed to be redone better to cover up the mold. But it was a comfortable bed and very nice desk staff I would honestly go to another place for the same price in the area and have breakfast because the breakfast was nonexistent and very disappointing. We liked the coffee machine! That was awesome. Not worth it for the price. In my opinion there are other hotels in the area that are the same price that offer breakfast and are more updated as...
