Great location & amenities

House could use a little end of year maintenance & deep cleaning. Overall it offered enough space for our party & the dock was fully stocked with toys to enjoy our time in the quiet cove. Location was a short drive to the dam.

Perfect Vacation

This was the most relaxing vacation we have had in years! The house was everything we wanted and more for our family of 4 and 2 doggos: plenty of space and so clean. Our teens loved using the floaties and jumping off the top deck. The hosts had thought of everything down to beach towels and even a few laundry detergent pods. We will definitely book again. Also, we rented a boat from Aqua Toys and highly recommend them! Great prices and service.

Mostly good stay

We had a nice stay. There were 5 adults in our group, we stayed for 5 nights. The beds were comfortable and the towels were nice. The kitchen was equipped with most things you would need. We cooked most nights. The dock was okay, we enjoyed the upper dock! The place was nice overall but did not seem well cared for. The stairs were dirty, there were a number of things that were broken or dinged. As others have mentioned, the driveway is ridiculously steep. Overall it was not a bad stay but I would not seek it out again.

The House is Ok but it has steep stairs to each level. Kitchen is on the bottom level, so 2 flights of stairs, or one long set outside the house to Rock walkway. Neither was fun. We enjoyed the Bikefest but the driveway is not for Motorcycles. It’s very steep, to steep to turn right, you must go left leaving and turn around. Nice place if you only have to go in and out once while staying there.

Fun time!!

We enjoyed the house and our trip to the Ozarks. Kids loved the 3rd floor bedroom and it was nice that they had their own space! Life jackets, lily pad and water toys were such a nice added bonus!! My only warning is the incredibly steep driveway. I did read that it said steep driveway in the listing but from the pictures, I thought the home itself was at street level and the incline seen in the picture was the "steep driveway". That is not accurate. In order to park at the house you have to utilize the extremely steep driveway. Street parking is slim and not close. It was full every time we. Checked. There is no alternative if the spots are taken. There is no "street spot" associated with the property. The steep parking was at almost all the surrounding homes as well as quite a few homes on the lakes. It worked out for us but was no an easy task getting our van up and down the driveway!!

Fun by the Lake

This is a lovely property with the Lake And all the water toys. We had a wonderful time with family. There were a few things that could’ve been a little bit better: vacuuming under the sofa cushions in the family room and more toilet tissue for that many people. Other than these few things, it was overall a great stay! Property manager, Dusty, answered right away for any questions. We would stay again!

Beautiful lakefront and close to all the fun stuff!

We took a trip with 11 girls and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. There was so much room for all of us. The dock and patios are beautiful, the house is stocked with everything you would need during your stay with the exception of groceries/personal items, and was really just a great location. Some of the downfalls are of the property are the driveway as mentioned in previous reviews but additional parking is down the road. Some of the patio furniture was in rough shape and unusable but there was still plenty for all of us to enjoy. The property managers were SO quick to respond when we needed help. It made our trip a breeze. We have already talked about coming back to this property as a yearly trip because we loved it so much!

Our Stay

We had a group of Ten Stay. Overall we had a great experience. The house had plenty of beds. The 2nd level of the house gave a great view. The downstairs was a great hangout area to watch games and TV. The dock had a very cool area for hangout and you could jump in off the top. The only complaints we had were minor issues. Not enough trash bags. The driveway is extremely steep and it would have been nice to know so you knew what to expect. Even though it was steep and slanted it wasn’t too bad getting in and out. There also seemed to be a lot of bees and wasps around the house and on the dock. My only ask would be for the owners to thoroughly spray and knock down nests in hopes to remove the amount of bees and wasps we saw. No one got stung. Other than that this place was pretty solid.

Lake rental review

Very Disappointed

Between the condition of the home and the lack of customer service from Evolve, we are extremely disappointed in our experience. Evolve boasts things like 'Before we put our name on a home, we check it in person to make sure it’s ready for guests' and 'Should you need any help during your stay, you can think of us as the front desk — we’re here for you 24/7', but neither are true statements. We have been trying to contact Evolve for 7 days now, calling numerous times, leaving two voice messages and a message on their website, and have not been able to reach a customer service rep nor have we received a call back. They say 'If the home isn’t up to our standards, we’ll make it right', but it doesn't appear that will ever happen since it's impossible to reach anyone at Evolve. Evolve provided guest contacts, who were very nice & helpful, but appeared to have no knowledge that they were actually supposed to be guest contacts. The home was nowhere near ready for guests. The first floor interior door was stuck shut, creating a fire hazard, the AC units had warning lights showing the filters needed cleaning, the first floor shower pipe was pulling away from the wall, the carpet and furniture were dirty and stained, the baseboard heater was pulling away from the wall in the master bedroom, the blinds were broken on the front door and in both 3rd floor bedrooms, the ceiling light fixture in the 3rd bedroom was hanging loose, the dock had board(s) missing where someone could lose a foot, there was broken rattan furniture on the dock, and the patio, there was no stand-up paddle board as mentioned in the amenities, one patio umbrella was broken & the other was full of mold, and the supplies were very limited (TP, paper towels and trash bags). This is our first experience with Evolve and it will definitely be our last. The only reason this review is 2 stars is because of the location and view.
