Chalet't – Lake Placid

”I booked the Spruce Room, which has extremely dated pictures online. There have been years of use when you actually view the place. The kitchen has stains and marked up tiles, bathroom is barely clean with black mold in the back of toilet. All 4 of our beds had dirty linens and since there is no on-site manager, they had us raid the emergency shed and hopefully retrieve extra sheets. These sheets were all unusable. They reeked of mildew. Our family had nowhere to sleep that night, so we had to...

Clean, comfortable, and a hot shower with good water pressure especially appreciated! So was having a keurig coffee maker, stocked with coffee fixin's! thank you!”

”The chalet was in an area that was very close to the White Mountain Gondala, and High Falls Gorge, and it was a short drive to Lake Placid. The problem was there was NO view. Please remove that word from the description. The Wilderness Inn was an abandoned delapadated building. The ”

”My husband and I stayed in the Balsam Cabin with two of our dogs. We were there on a last vacation with my oldest dog. It was a great place, very dog friendly and easily accessed by my Sr. dog. We took some great pictures out in back of the cabin which I loved. Close to Olympic training center, short drive to Mirror Lake plenty to do around and great places to eat. Cabins were clean and homey. Check in was a breeze. Will definitely stay again”
