Maalaismainen, Brookside-mökki, jossa on vanhan maailman charmia, koostuu 2 makuuhuoneesta. Makuuhuone, jossa on upeat Adirondack-sisustus ja king-size-vuode, on vieressä valtava kylpyhuone, katedraalin katot, uppoava uppoava kylpyamme, vapaasti seisova suihku, antiikkikoristeita. Myös vastapäätä makuuhuoneeseen on viehättävä kirjasto, josta on näkymät värikkäille kukille keväällä / kesällä ja joulukuusille talvella. Vedä sohva, joka nukkuu 2 ... Toinen makuuhuone koostuu 2 queen-size-vuodetta. Tämän vieressä on toinen täysin remontoitu kylpyhuone, jossa on korkeat katot, iso suihku ja antiikkisänky. Täydellinen keittiö holvattuine mäntykattoineen, * Äskettäin uusittu .. alijäämäinen jäähdytys tiskin alla .. kvartsitiskin yläosassa. Taidelaitteiden kauniit näkymät purolle ** Kolmas kylpyhuone sijaitsee keittiön vieressä täydellisillä kylpytuotteilla. Pesukone ja kuivaaja ovat myös keittiön vieressä. Ruokasalista on tarjolla täysi näkymä puron läpivientiseinästä seinään ikkunoihin, tuomiokirkon kattoihin, joissa on mäntyä ja kuorta, ja 12 jalkaa pitkä antiikkipöytä nauttiaksesi Brookside-ruokailusta. Suuri huone on viehättävä, viihtyisä, romanttinen ja rentouttava paikka, jossa on suuri kivitakka, samettinen sohva, intialaiset viltit ja mukavat tuolit. Valtava kansi Whiteface Mountain -vuoristoon ja Lake Placidiin nähden on osittain turvatarkastus ja viihtyisä paikka istua, jolloin voit nauttia mahtavan puron äänistä ja luonnonkauniista näkymistä kaikissa sääolosuhteissa. We had a great stay at the Brookside Cabin this past weekend. The cabin was beautiful and made for a perfectly wintry getaway, especially with the fireplace keeping that cozy winter vibe. Everything was very clean, and the entire complex was quiet, well maintained, and relaxing. The location was ideal, close to Main Street in Lake Placid. Check in was super smooth and easy. If you’re considering a trip to Lake Placid, I would definitely recommend staying at Brookside Cabin.

We absolutely loved everything about this cottage! Perfectly located, it was just far enough from the village to feel tucked away and private, but close enough to drive 10 minutes to town for dining and shopping. The cottage itself was very clean and tidy, and thoughtfully decorated with luxuriously rustic touches. It was also surrounded by beautiful scenery to admire beyond every windowpane, making our stay extremely comfortable and relaxing. With just three of us staying, we had plenty of room to spread out, but the cottage would be able to accommodate up to 6 people easily, if you don't mind bunking together. We also absolutely loved the wood burning fireplace, stocked with plenty of seasoned firewood for our cozy evenings in. The cottage is also very well managed. Because we came during a very cold and icy streak, there was quite a bit of ice leading up to the front door. We contacted the management company as soon as we arrived and they sent someone out straight away to take care of de-icing the stairs and porch leading up to the front door. We would definitely love to stay again and/or recommend to our family and friends!

Our Thanksgiving stay at Cheryl’s beautiful Brookside Cabin was absolutely wonderful. The cozy vibe and peaceful setting was exactly what we were hoping for. Although her place looks lovely in the pictures, they do not do it justice. It’s even more lovely in person! It’s very clean, well appointed and well stocked. We hope to visit again!

This cabin was a very short walk to a beautiful lake and just a few minutes drive from all that downtown Lake Placid has to offer. We loved the spacious rooms and aesthetics; everything was beautiful and well appointed. Nothing better than a cozy fire in the evening followed by a bubble bath in the large tub. Plenty of space for four, and we enjoyed how quickly we could get to all the hiking spots in and around Lake Placid. Would definitely stay here again, and give this place two big thumbs up.

What a great trip we had in Lake Placid. The house was great and the location was beautiful. Very close to the lake with a nice front deck and covered porch at the front as well. It was also just a few minutes from town and stores. Very short walk to a marina for boat tours and kayaking and small swimming area at the lake. HIGHLY recommend!

Beautiful house! Just as pictured, spacious and bright, we really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is perfect, large enough and well stocked for cooking meals or perfect just for quick coffee and breakfast. Very close to several grocery/specialty food stores. Great location in Lake Placid region for all the outdoor activities, and close to the town of Lake Placid for restaurants and shopping. We had dinner one night at the Moose Lodge Boat House, super convenient 2-minute walk, spectacular view of the lake and mountains.

Always Amazing

Brookside is Our favorite property to rent in Lake Placid. It’s absolutely beautiful, cozy and well appointed. Kitchen is spacious & very user friendly for cooking meals, had everything we needed. Excellent cabin!

Very cozy and cute cabin, well maintained and excellent communication with Cheryl the host. Nicely equipped with kitchen equipment and bathroom supplies/towels/blankets and new washer/dryer. Screen porch could use a little more attention for sitting there to enjoy the brook— it just has a picnic table and 2 seats. Highly recommend --we are set to return 2025! Highly recommend!!

2nd Time and the charm is alive

This was our 2nd stay at the Brookside Cabin, and we enjoyed it just as much if not more than the first time. First, this is a cabin nestled next to a lovely, small creek partially in the woods, but it's a cabin with very upscale amenities. The bedrooms and beds were all quite comfortable, but the updated bathroom and kitchens offered great luxury. In fact, we brought along our own Nespresso machine only to find one was available. New from our last stay were excellent window unit air conditioners we needed only during the day. Additionally, the porch chairs have been updated and were far more comfortable than those before. Coffee on the deck with views out across the lake was a treat. Best of all, the grounds of the Whiteface Club and Resort are exceptional. The waterfront garden still amazes my gardener wife, and enjoying dinner at the Moose Lodge right on the lake with spectacular views of Whiteface mountain simply can't be beat. This is a very hard spot to dislike, so we look forward to our next opportunity to share this great home.

Property nice but needs work mice dirt on counters , terrible ants on walkway climbing on you trying to unpack had to go and get stuff to put down thank to my husband he took care of them , buts mice coming in somewhere and we were very clean used ziplock bags and containers Would have left but family in hotels in town , hope I can be compensated!

Peaceful and serene week!

Cheryl - Andy, myself and the dogs thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brookside. We felt safe, cozy and relaxed the entire week we were there. The spaciousness of the cottage is even more than we expected based on the pictures and we were delighted with the big master suite and bathroom! The dogs enjoyed their time and we did lots of hiking in the area (so many hiking trails and so little time!) The town of Lake Placid is just 5 minutes away and we found no issues with finding a good restaurant to visit or with parking. Overall, we had a wonderful time and we hope you will have us back again one day! Rob C.

A mountain cabin to delight all

This second trip to Brookside was just as lovely as last year. This is a top-notch place with majestic mountains and lakes all around you. Inside Brookside you will find rustic furniture and walls, a beautiful working kitchen with all you would need. I am a linen freak and often bring my own, but Brookside has the most luxurious towels and sheets that I have ever found in any of my rentals. With it's 10 minute proximity to anywhere you might want to go, it is an easy choose to pick this cozy, comfortable cabin. I'd do it again. P.S. you'll love the fireplace!
