  • Ihannetapauksessa sijaitsee Tahoe Donner -golfkentän 5. reiän kohdalla saapuminen tähän neljän makuuhuoneen loma-asuntoon on kuin saapuminen rakkaan sukulaisen kotiin. Kun avaat oven Matterhorn Placeen, tunnet heti lämpöä, mukavuutta ja rauhaa, ja toivotamme sinut tervetulleeksi Sierraan.

    Tämä Tahoe Donner-lomavuokraus tarjoaa kaksi erillistä, mutta vierekkäistä sosiaalista tilaa suuressa huoneessa, joka sopii täydellisesti monen sukupolven perheille. Pienempi oleskelualue, jossa on suuri taulutelevisio, on loistava paikka kääntää elokuva lapsille ilta-aikoina, kun taas aikuiset seurustelevat suuressa oleskelualueessa, jossa on takka ja baarikeittiö.     1. Ketjuilla matkustamista suositellaan talvikuukausina.
    2. Kaikki kuvat Tahoe Donner -tuotteista tarjosivat Tahoe Donnerin kohteliaisuuden.
    3. Ei kadun pysäköintiä. Vieras tarkistaa Tahoe Getaways -edustajalta, tuodaanko vene tai matkailuauto, joka sisältää Sprinter-tyyppisiä pakettiautoja.
    4. Trout Creek-virkistyskeskus on parhaillaan remontissa. Kuntoilutunneihin, sydän- ja painohuoneisiin voi kohdistua vaikutuksia ja / tai olla poissa käytöstä. Hankkeen odotetaan valmistuvan helmikuussa 2020.

    MAKSU- / PERUUTUSPOLITIIKKA -
    Varauksia pidetään varattuina, kun vieraan ei makseta takaisin ennakkomaksua. Varausvarauksen erääntyy 60 päivää ennen saapumista, jolloin varausta ei palauteta (vähennettynä maksetuilla veroilla).

    OMISTAJAN MAKSUTIEDOT -
    ”Hallintomaksu” eli Tahoe Getawaysin huoleton takuu - tämä maksu tarjoaa vieraillemme joustavuuden muuttaa aikatauluaan 60 päivää ennen alkuperäistä saapumispäivää tai sen jälkeen mistä tahansa syystä samassa kiinteistössä. Yöhintaeroihin sovelletaan tarvittaessa lisämaksuja. Saatavuus riippuu. Katso vuokra-sopimuksemme lisätietoja.
    ”Hallinta” eli Damage Waiver Fee - tämä maksu suojaa sinua enintään 3000 dollarin tahattomilta vahingoilta vuokrayksiköltä edellyttäen, että vahingoista ilmoitetaan Tahoe Getawaysille ennen lähtöä.

This house was perfect for 3 couples and an infant. It was even bigger than we expected based on the photos. Great neighborhood in Truckee, and we had a blast cross country skiing nearby! Thanks for a wonderful weekend stay.

This was a great stay, the house was amazing, and the hosts clearly thought through what a family vacation would need, to the point of having a bunch of board/family games available. It just felt like we were hosted by friends and family and not by a "landlord", really enjoyed it and will surely be coming back. Thank you.

Excellent property and great location

We stayed at Matterhorn with our family and quite enjoyed our stay! The property is easily accessible and close to Truckee downtown. If you plan skiing at Donner Hill, you can't beat this location. The house itself is very well-designed, furnished, and decorated. Our family had a great time at the property. We will definitely stay again.

Great home for family summer vacation. We enjoyed proximity to golf, lake, and swimming facility. The house is spacious and in great condition. Only regret is we wish we could have stayed longer.

Amazing stay!

Could not recommend enough! Home was beautiful, very spacious with many areas to relax, with a very well appointed kitchen that made cooking easy. Location was fantastic, close to everything in Tahoe Donner (mountain biking, hiking trails, local pizza place and market) and a short drive from Truckee. A perfect place to enjoy the outdoors and wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfect Place for a Ski Weekend

What a wonderful house, perfect for our spring ski weekend. Lots of space (more than we needed!) and the house had everything we needed. We took advantage of the hot tub too! thank you!

Best stay in the Tahoe area ever!

The house was gorgeous, spacious, and so family friendly. I enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen, the large dining room table and the spacious seating. The hot tub was wonderful after a long day in the snow. Four bedrooms and three full bathrooms make this house a place of ease and comfort. Couldn't recommend it more; we will definitely be booking this house again!!!

Vacation

This is the second year we stayed at the same home and it was excellent. We had a few issues that were resolved quickly and Chris assisted us in person with one of them. Planning and looking forward the next year with the family Lord willing.

Quick Family Snow Trip

Overall was a good stay. A pitty that the Hot tub did not work. And also There are some leaks in the top floor. Besides that is mostly as described and the customer support was responsive and helped us recover a cell phone we forgot

Needs TLC

There are so many wonderful aspects to this property. Lots of light, great location, spacious great room area, sun on deck, large kitchen. Unfortunately there were just too many items in need of repair. We provided a list to the owner. The most disturbing is when more than once the mirrored doors in the guest bedroom fell on our guests. Should they decide to give this property the attention it needs we would stay again.

Good but…

The property was mostly as advertised, which was good. The spaces are very very large, which is, depending on what you want either gracious or cavernous. IMHO, it feels neglected and a bit desolate. Also, there were some problems: two windows had been broken by snow and were covered in plastic (cold air!) and one bedroom was catching drips in a bucket. One of the broken windows was over the jacuzzi in the primary bedroom which made it unusable. Also the floor in the primary bathroom was shockingly cold. The gas fireplace in the primary bedroom didn’t work and the screen above it had been removed leaving wires and brackets dangling. Last, the hot tub did work but we had to guess about the controls because the display on the control screen was broken.

Absolutely amazing property and location!!

This property is absolutely beautiful, well equipped and what was our most important criteria, SPARKLING clean!! It is located, literally, in walking distance to Donner Ski resort, in a beautiful neighborhood! The house itself has spectacular high ceiling, a great layout downstairs with two separate gathering areas, a big high resolution screen for family movie nights and if kids want to watch something of their own, there is another equally huge TV screen in the kid's room upstairs where they can rule :) !! The upstairs bedrooms are very comfortable and the special kid's room has also a well equipped office! The masterpiece of them all of course is the grand master bedroom downstairs that has it's own king size bathroom with shower and spa tub and the fireplace that is just the cherry on the cake! The kitchen is gorgeous, with all the essentials and high end appliances. Due to the pandemic there were no spices, condiments or anything perishable! We knew ahead of time and brought along everything we needed for our cooking! Of course the outdoor hot tub in the winter chill was something we LOVED! This property exceeded our expectations and was a beautiful place to have a peaceful family vacation! Our party was our family of 4 only, but this house can easily accommodate a much bigger group! So happy with this find and will definitely come back!

Great Getaway!

We loved our stay! Terrific location, a great hot tub, lots of space for our family and another family and children. Our only issue was a lack of towels-- there were no wash clothes and only 6 bath towels. With folks hot tubbing and showering after outdoor activities, we ended up needing to constantly put them in the dryer and had to wash them. Also, if you plan to cook in at the house, bring all your supplies. Some houses have staples like salt, oil, pepper, some spices, but you'll need to bring your own (except salt-- we ended up buying a container and left what we didn't use!)

Solid property

Wonderful location and a great house for entertaining and having fun family time. Highly recommended. The kitchen and bathrooms were not totally clean when we arrived, which meant we had to do some cleaning, but overall it was a good experience.

Great Tahoe Donner cabin

The Matterhorn is a great Tahoe Donner cabin. Things we loved: * Big place, spacious, comfortable * Very modern amenities such as a Nest thermostat, TV with Tivo + Apple TV + Nintendo Switch, very nice plates/dishes/etc. * Loved the location as we were there to take kids to Donner Ski Ranch - literally 3 minutes away Not too many negatives. I don't think there is a garage door clicker (or at least, I couldn't find it) which was a little bit annoying for coming/going. And there is no good sled hill in the backyard area. But those are nitpicks: it is a great place.
