    Kätevästi kahden mailin etelään Tahoe City, löydät pohjimmainen Tahoe naapurustossa Sunnyside. Tämä Tahoe-järven länsirannan voimakkaasti metsäinen alue sisältää vanhoja Tahoe-tyylisiä koteja ja klassisia mökkejä. Alueen asunnot sijaitsevat keskeisellä paikalla Homewoodin ja Tahoe Cityn välissä.

    Aivan tien varrella on Sunnyside Resort ja Marina ja William Kent Shoreline. Cozy cabin

Loved staying at this charming west shore cabin. It felt extremely comfortable and homey. We got great and timely responses from the owner/manager. Would happily stay here again.

Family Summer Vacation in Tahoe City

Our family had a very nice time. The cabin was very nice and clean. And it is located in a secluded area with the beautiful surrounding with lots of trees and water. And all the Tahoe getaway staff have been very kind and supportive. Overall it's been very fun doing some activities like tree top adventure, picnic at the beach, shopping 🛍️ and etc.etc. We will definitely be back! Thank you ❤️😊

Favorite Tahoe Cabin

This is my second time staying here and I love this place. It's got the best living room to unwind in after skiing all day. The wood-burning fireplace and cozy atmosphere are exceedingly rare to find in the Tahoe area now. The kitchen is well-equipped to prepare family-style meals and has enough room around the kitchen table for everyone to comfortably eat. The master bedroom can be a bit warm, but I love this place and would recommend staying here to anyone who will listen. 10/10

great cabin but a few things ned attending to

Hello- We love staying at Ward Creek but we were enormously frustrated with the tv situation. Remotes did not work, took so many trial and errors each night to try and figure it out. Each solution each night was different. Had to plug and unplug multiple times...I hope someone can attend to this. Also, we wanted to make a fire, bought wood only to find out that it wasn't clear if the fleu was open. No instructions left of fireplace as instruction book said there was. Called the office and the person we spoke to could not help. Again, hope someone can make a simple clarification on open vs. closed fleu. Other than critters in the roof above the bedroom facing the street, it was a peaceful stay! We really love staying here and hope these concerns are addressed so we can continue to enjoy the charming cabin in the future.

Great, but...

This cabin was wonderful. And if it had been any other time than August, I would have only amazing things to say. But... I would have really loved to have read a review like this before I stayed. We stayed in the cabin in mid August and there is no AC. If you look closely at the listing, "AC" is not checked, so you should know that going in. However, it is hot. And I mean so incredibly hot, we had to leave all day and only come back at night where it was still 88 degrees. And upstairs it's even hotter. The fans only circulate the warm air. And while nice they have them (they are portable not in the ceiling), they don't help much when it's in the high 80s inside the cabin. It bakes. We had a really hard time sleeping because it was so hot. Anyway....we would totally come back here again - just never in the summer when it's above 75 degrees outside during the day. This cabin is lovely - and so charming - and I am in no way trying to bash the place. But it needs to be said. Our mistake was not realizing there was no AC ahead of time. So I'm saying it now to make sure everyone is aware. So, there it is. Now you know :)

Ideal Location

Such a lovely spot! So nice to have a trail right outside the back door. Roomy cabin with enough space to spread out and relax. The kitchen is spacious with everything we needed. The bed in the master bedroom was amazingly comfortable. Many windows to take in the views as well as the fresh air, and sounds of the trickling creek. Faucet water clarity & temp was great. Master bath water pressure/shower head could use some improvement. Couch and chairs in the living room match the vibe but are not at all comfortable (I'm not typically one to notice/care but these are ready to retire). With so much detail in the property care info book, it was overwhelming to read it in full. It would be nice to have a simple short video emailed before check-in explaining some of the basics like the bear (electric) fence...it can be intimidating at first. As well as the difference between the recycling vs. garbage can in the kitchen. My family of 4 enjoyed our stay immensely and would return.

Awesome rental for a group

The house is exactly as described. It’s cozy and has a ski vibe. Easy to get to alpine and squaw. Very clean. Kitchen is well suited to cook. Highly recommend.

A little slice of Tahoe heaven!

Comfortable, cozy and well appointed. With spacious living areas. Beautiful, serene back deck with a running stream adding to the ambiance. The neighborhood was quiet but at the same time close to everything. Hiking trails at the end of the street were amazing! This cabin has everything you need for a week stay! We hope to be back!!

Reviewer Comments: Arrived at the house and noticed the trash cans were completely full due to all the snow and the trash company passing by unable to open the trash container. Called Tahoe Getaways and they had one of their employee stop by within 30 minutes and removed all the trash. Extremely happy with the customer service from them!

Extreme winter in Tahoe

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was as expected. It could use a new coffee maker. We had a hard time using the thermostat. It did not appear to work properly. However it was not uncomfortably hot or cold in the rental.

Reviewer Comments: Overall we were very satisfied with the property and would book again. Pros: Charming, attention to details in interior design. Cosy bedroom with plenty of sheets and blankets. Both dinning table and kitchen nook enabled multiple use of tables. Closest restaurant and deli 3 minutes drive away. Well supplied kitchen for cooking. Cons: I'd recommend a spring cleaning of some kitchen utensils, pots and pans as some were in unacceptable condition. I wish the piano was tuned; although this probably doesn't matter to most visitors. I did bring my piano music with me in anticipation that it was tuned.
