”Nice location a few km out of Rotorua. The park-like grounds are a bit odd with the Alice in Wonderland themed art, but peaceful and with nice views of the lake in the distance. The rooms are well appointed but have zero soundproofing: you will hear your neighbors snore and chat, and doors are so flimsy you hear everything going on in the common areas. Bring your best earplugs. Breakfast is decent, service can be slow. Tiny outdoor pool and two nice hot tubs. Maintenance is hit and miss: rooms...

The food was absolutely incredible every evening and morning and the wonderful chef even packed us a picnic lunch to take on our exceptional hike to their private waterfall! Our stay here was one of the overall highlights of our entire trip!”
