”A really magnificent departure from the mid-range, vanilla hotels that we business travelers frequent. You'll experience coolness overload when you stay here. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed and the communal areas are stunning in a way that fans of Gustav Stickley, Teco, Weller, etc won't easily forget. The breakfast was superb too. The only drawback-It was really hot, and the A/C in this old girl couldn't keep up. Luckily there was a large fan in the room.

”Due to flight delays and cancellations, I didn't get to the hotel until after midnight. The night staff was very helpful and courteous even at that late hour. In the morning, the woman running the breakfast room was delightful and the area was spotless with food replaced quickly. I have no complaints about the facility or the staff. It was a very pleasant and comfortable stay.”

”We stayed in room 237 which is directly across from the stairwell. Cold air gushed up the stairs and into our room. There was no good way to regulate the temperature. We have stayed at this hotel many times and have never had problems. However I will never stay in that room again.”
