”The front desk staff were great. As were the amazing breakfast team. The coffee was always hot and the breakfast delicious… omelettes and scrambles, pancakes and sausages, yogurt and hard boiled eggs and cereal. Chocolate and regular milk and oats… the gym equipment was always available and the pool clean. Thanks to a great team this past weekend.”

”Our experience at Omstead’s on Erie was amazing, my friend, daughter and I are still talking about it. First off, the home was so well decorated, every carefully selected item has a story and the stories were amazing, all this with a great view of Lake Erie. Margo and Keith are great hosts, they provided us with many great local recommendations for dinner and Margo treated us to locally sourced fancy breakfasts. We will definitely be going back!”

”The door handle almost fell off from the inside. I managed to get the screws back in so I could lock the room from outside. The fridge freezer was covered in over an inch of ice so I dont think the fridge was as cold as it should.be. the room and bathroom were at least very clean at least.”

”Great location, right in the middle of town. Able to walk to many restaurants. Right next door is Jim's Sub Shop - great breakfast served. Staff at hotel very friendly, knowledgeable about recommendations. Loved the casual vibe of the hotel, including the decor. Lovely to have tea and coffee available all day. Nespresso machines in each room is a plus. Room was very clean, as was the bathroom. Large room, space for 2 armchairs in front of the TV in our room. Parking is public parking...

”Gorgeous house with 19th century charm! Cozy rooms, comfy beds, and bright common areas. Host was super friendly and kept property clean and well maintained. I’ve stayed here twice and I know I will stay here again.”

”Quiet, Clean room, convenient parking”

”My wife is severely mobility challenged. The staff were responsive to our needs throughout our three day stay. BUT most outstanding was the effort a staff member made to help us settle in when we first arrived. He opened the outside patio door so she could walk directly into our accommodation. He made sure we were safely ensconced and comfortable. Everything else about the accommodation was excellent, but the staff's caring was extraordinary.”

”We didnt even stay in the room, my girlfriend was so upset about how cold it was in the rooms( the windows had been left open). There was dirt on the floors in the room and the bathroom. She also couldnt get any warm water out of the taps.”

”This is a beautiful, newer hotel (open about a year and a half) and it still feels fresh and modern. Everything was clean, and the staff was friendly from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was also really good with a nice variety. We had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.”

”A cozy house just south of downtown (just north of the ferry dock). We had the guest suite (downstairs), which had a minor disadvantage of pipes running across the ceiling, but otherwise, it was well soundproofed and got good light from outside. Breakfast was provided each morning and was a mix of berries, fruits, yoghurts, and scrambled eggs. The hosts (and their three dogs) ere wonderful people, very friendly, with a lot of hospitality experience. Would stay again!”
