Waubee Lake remodeled cozy cottage on ATV trails!

Welcome to The Steele Cottage!! Completely renovated 2 bed/1ba that includes 1 queen and 2 twin XL's plus bonus full sized sectional sleeper sofa. We are located directly across the street from Waubee Lake and are just a few minutes walk to Waubee Lodge! We are the prime location for all ATV/snowmobile guests as we are located within the Oconto County ATV/UTV Trail Route System!

Lakewood, Wisconsin, is a peaceful town in the Northwoods of Oconto County, offering a blend of natural beauty and recreational opportunities. It's a popular destination for visitors seeking a tranquil escape and access to outdoor activities, including water sports, hiking, and snowmobiling. The town is also known for its historical sites, wineries, and local shops.

You can park anywhere you can find a spot. If parking in front of the house, please caution the AC unit as well as down spouts. There is enough room to back in 2 car trailer sized trailers for ATV's and snowmobiles or even campers!

To access you will want to enter through the front door with the keypad lock. (NOTE: If you touch the keypad to light it up, that will count as one number, so try to touch the first number of your code first.)

Opening the front door you will enter the sunroom and you will find the floors to have all new luxury vinyl flooring and tastefully decorated. Here you will find ample storage for your gear, counter height dining room table and the laundry. Joining the sunroom is also the beautifully designed bathroom with tile standup shower.

Through the patio door off the sunroom you will enter into the kitchen which has all new cabinetry and full tile wall backsplash. In the kitchen I have added a coffee bar, stocked full to enjoy your coffee looking out at the lake every morning! On the other side of this room is the living room you will notice I have chosen the seating arrangement to be conversational and inviting. This includes an large sectional sleeper sofa, relaxing furniture, board games, variety of books and a large smart TV.

The bedroom to your right is furnished with a queen bed and the bedroom to your left has two twin XL's. Note: One of the bedrooms has a locked door. Inside the locked door is the furnace along with extra supplies for our cleaners.

You can head outside for yard games, a grill to cookout, or a night around the fire pit. You can find pudgie pie makers, smore sticks and pokers in the wood shed out back! We also have life jackets, swimming gear, outdoor games and bag boards located in the same shed outside. We are walking distance to the water so grab your gear and go swimming or fishing at the lake entrance by Waubee Lodge. (More information to come on what is allowed.)

I take great care in designing properties specifically with relaxation in mind and can't wait for you to relax and enjoy this property that is in prime location in Lakewood!

Please note this unit was just renovated and we are just waiting on our professional photos! The kitchen is completely new with granite countertops and tiled backsplash. Brand new LVP throughout the house. There is a sunroom with a beautiful view of the lake as well as a completely new bathroom with tiled stand up shower. The property will be equipped with board games, yard games, hammock, firepit, propane grill and more! There is plenty of room for parking and to back in 2 car trailer sized trailers as well. This can include campers, boats, ATV & snowmobile trailers!

Bugs:
Even though we have sprayed inside and outside twice a year, we are by the water! You can expect to see a few insects here and there.
