”First of all big thanks to Tony, Marco and Ana. Although the Casa itself is excellent, you 3 make it so much more :) Your hospitality and personal service made us feel like part of your family. Everything just works. Great room, awesome views, nice breakfast and delicious dinner with local wines. If your staying here, please also check their tours. We took the 1 day Douro tour and it was beautiful.”

”Muy bien ubicado para turismo cultural y vinícola. Todo muy bien y personal muy amable, servicial y atentos. Por poner un pero: cenamos y tardaron mucho en traer el plato. En el desayuno llegamos a más de las 9 y ya faltaban muchas cosas q no repusieron, aunque el personal nos preguntó en todo momento por nuestras necesidades y nos las solventaron. A pesar de eso, creo q deberían haber repuesto algo de lo agotado. ”

”The most magical place I've been to! The hotel is an old estate and they have redone it beautifully. The staff was first class, the food delicious and there were so many activities to sign up for! Spa was impressive with the hydrotherapy, cold plunge and different saunas! We will definitely go back!!”

”The hotel had opened about a month ago, so it was very new. The location is good and the view over the Douro valley is nice, the terraces of the hotel and the rooms' balconies make it easy to enjoy it. Chairs on the room balconies would have been nice, though. The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. You could see that a lot of thought had been put on the overall design of the hotel with a lot of nice details, we liked that. The staff was quite young and eager, and sometimes fumbling a...

”Excellent location, Quiet. Kind staff, beautiful view, beautiful room and clean, very nice breakfast. Superb pool area and terrasse overlooking the Douro Valley. I highly recommend. Only downside is the bathroom and toilet is in the bedroom open area. However, there are other bathrooms for more privacy in a well decorated cabin outside the room. ”

”This hotel was a quiet osasis of calm with beautiful views and great food. The rooms were quite small but there were more than adequate lounges and outdoor areas to compensate.”

”A different type of hotel set in acres of vineyards this is a good place to stay if you want something a bit different. On the Saturday night we paid for the buffet which was great value.”

”Amazing place! Great buffet breakfast and also an option to have the breakfast on the barrel terrace. The only minus was that I was travelling with a friend and requested to have two separate blankets. There was an extra in the closet but no cover to it. When calling again to ask for the separate blanket we were broaght 4 extra sheets but still no cover to the extra blanket. (The barrels seem to be more for couples travelling but it would be nice if the hotel would accomodate for others as well...
