”Super attentive and friendly staff from Antonio at the Reception to Roberto and the Somellier (we called cousin Bob because he looks exactly like our Cousin Bob), Saverio, who ended up being the owner. Rooms are large and very clean and modern. Entire hotel is less than one year old, and the floors are gleaming marble everywhere. Good breakfast and good dinner options even off season. Showers are phenomenal. Beautiful views of the Sila mountain range. ”

”Absolutely shattered after a long day cycling to Vibo, really friendly efficient check in and then a super nice bartender ( rocksi I think ) who went out of her way to make me a sandwich as the kitchen was closed, then negotiated the restaurant opening 30 mins early for me so I could eat and sleep ready for tomorrows ride. La stanza si è rivelata ottima, perché molto ampia e con l'essenziale per gestirci al meglio (anche con balcone e filo per appendere costumi e teli se necessario). Anche il bagno grande e pulito. ”Albergó Céntrale is a jewel in Lamezia. Great breakfast and dinners. Bruno, Lucca, Tania, Teresa, Stefania and our housekeepers all worked hard to ensure we had a pleasurable stay. Lamezia is not a tourist town, so there is not much English spoken. But Bruno and his staff did their best use their English skills and our poor Italian language skills to make our stay enjoyable. I would stay here again, if I come back to town. Parking is difficult. But restaurants, stores, and the plaza is easily...

Noi abbiamo alloggiato in una stanza per 4 persone, pur essendo in due, e siamo stati benissimo; bagno pulito e grande, unico neo la mancanza della doccia. Wij logeerden tijdens onze reis in Calabria in 5 hotels en wij kunnen stellen dat het San Domenico Hotel zeker niet moet onderdoen voor sommige 4sterren (!) hotels. De kamer was heel netjes, de badkamer voldoende ruim en met een goedwerkende (!) douche EN haardroger. De handdoeken waren kraaknet en roken lekker. Ontbijt hebben wij niet genomen, maar als lunch kon je aan de poolbar gerust een vers belegd broodje bestellen. Eveneens een ruim...

”Ikke 4 stjerner, Max 2. Dusjen så vidt det kom vann ut av den og så trang at man må opne dusjdørene for å få vasket beina. Ikke wifi på rommet, bare ved resepsjonen. Frokost uten noe som helst grønt ei heller egg. Bare kaker, syltetøy. Tok kun naturell yougert og kaffe til frokost. Ved frokosten måtte jeg vise pass, pga jeg ikke var på frokostlista?”

”Ottima esperienza con Cenone di Capodanno incluso , gestito egregiamente dallo staff ed organizzato con cibo di qualità e raffinatezza non sempre percepibile in queste serate da massa, per intenderci siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi perché sembrava più un matrimonio che un veglione !
