Inside: 2 bedrooms - 1 king and 1 queen, a well-equipped kitchen, central AC & heat, good wifi, projector w/ Roku and a bathroom with dual showerheads.

Outdoors: fenced-in with 2 covered mural-lined patios, a 4-6 person hot tub/spa, a large fire pit, circular daybed, pergola with seating for 4, a swingset and 4 hammocks between 2 shade trees.
The space
Stardance Vista is a clean and modern, recently-renovated house situated on 5 acres of land on the peaceful outskirts of the Joshua Tree area. About 1 acre surrounding the house is fully fenced so you can feel secure while enjoying the beautiful desert landscape and keep kiddos and fur babies protected from the larger desert dwellers.

Where You'll Be:

Stardance Vista is located in Homestead Valley, aka Landers, on the outskirts of the Joshua Tree area. The lack of light pollution gives way to beautiful starry nights so star-gazing here is a must! The roads to get there are mostly paved except for the last mile which is a well-maintained dirt road that any car can traverse, though a little more slowly and carefully.

Stardance Vista is conveniently located if you are looking for a peaceful, renewing and magical experience of the Mojave desert as it is centrally located amongst several spiritually, geologically, and historically significant sites. It is also close to several well-respected restaurants; drive 10 minutes to Flamingo Height's famous gourmet roadside restaurant, La Copine (American cuisine) and Giant Rock Meeting Room (pizza & bar). FYI: La Copine is open Thursday - Sunday (closed during the summer), while Giant Rock Meeting Room is open Thursday - Monday. After lunch or dinner at a local spot, take a 10 min trip to the actual Giant Rock (the largest freestanding boulder in the US) for a hike and some sightseeing in Landers. If you're ready for a spiritual experience, head over to the Integratron for a magical sound bath and an exploration of the history of this unique corner of the desert!

• Giant Rock, the largest freestanding boulder in the US, is a short 10 min drive from Stardance Vista, and has a very strange and storied past going back centuries. In the 1950s it was a gathering place for UFO believers and has been a Native American spiritual site for thousands of years.
• The Integratron is a fusion of art, science, and magic and the historical structure is 'a uniquely resonant tabernacle and energy machine sited on a powerful geomagnetic vortex in the magical Mojave Desert.' Best part about it? It's only a 7 min drive from Stardance Vista and its origin story is one you'll wonder about well beyond your stay.
• Pioneertown is a must-see and only a 20 min scenic drive. This old Wild West-inspired town was established in 1946 and has a fun Hollywood history.
The small town boasts world famous Pappy & Harriet's restaurant & music venue and the newly refurbished Red Dog Saloon!
• Joshua Tree National Park (West Entrance) is the closest entrance to the famed national park, which is packed with trails, views, and the iconic Joshua Trees.
• Downtown Joshua Tree is a 25 min drive and has some delicious coffee and restaurants that will not disappoint: Joshua Tree Coffee Company, Crossroads, & The Dez are all delicious places to scope out while in town.
• Kitchen in the Desert may be a bit of a drive being about 35 min away from Stardance Vista, but the lounge-y outdoor eatery under the stars has easily become a favorite of the owners.
• If you're looking for delectable and intense flavor, eat-in or take out from Yucca Kebab, 20 mins from Stardance Vista, and the better than any mediterranean/middle east cuisine you can find in Los Angeles.
