”We were warmly welcomed by a host. Beds were comfy and breakfast served on a table behind the door was convenient. Location was great, quiet neighborhood and close to the park. Would be nice to have a toaster in room for breakfast bagels.”

”It has good location on quiet street. Free parking. Excellent service on front desk.
The hotel was dated, but pretty clean. Earplugs are must. Breakfast is free, it includes coffee, bread, eggs and cereals.
The hotel bit pricey for value, but i think in SF it might be difficult to find good hotels for decent price.
Overall this is OK place for few days stay

”I had issues (twice...) with the codes not working when trying to enter my room which made me feel unsafe especially when this happened midnight. Reception is not open after 10pm so I received help via Whatsapp and staff was helpful.
Other things that lower my rating were the metal beds that made a lot of noise. Also the whole floor only had 2 showers working. I have never had to wait to shower in hostel before. I wish toilets had more hooks to put towels/clothes in and rooms had mirrors....
”We got corner room on 18th floor with great view towards the bay. I warmly recommend to pay some extra for that!
Room was in great condition and clean. Bed was perfect with two set of pillows (soft & firm).
Location was good, Nob hill cable car end station is just around the corner. However, for people in good condition it takes approx 30-40 minutes to walk to Fisherman’s Wharf.
We were very happy to our two nights staying in this hotel.”
”I stayed at the Mayflower during a conference because SF was sold out. I travel a lot for business and stay at marriotts. The online reviews prepared me well - this is an old building with a single person at the desk, old elevator, and very basic amenities. If you are good with that (and I love old buildings and don’t rely on hotels toiletries) then this is a comfortable stay - and I’m glad I took the chance to be near Moscone. Everything was exactly as described - and the person at the front...
