”This place is a gem– – a beautifully preserved building that dates back to the colonial era which nonetheless provides all modern conveniences. It’s only a stone’s throw from the center of town on a lovely leafy street. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We’re looking forward to our next visit. If you require an elevator, be warned – – this hotel does not have one. We did not mind bringing our bags up to our third-floor room, but that might be a problem for others.”

”The experience can be divided in two parts.
Part A-First day, Friday night
Terrible room, cigarette odor, bathroom door won’t open, A/C was noisy at night and was hard to sleep. Front desk response was a disaster. No other room, no solution for the door, limited air deodorizer and no solution for the A/C room.
Part B, Saturday morning
Much better response from the front desk. Got a new room, normal bathroom door, good working A/C.
Overall, average experience, not typical Hilton.”

”Desk folk were pleasant and helpful; our room was very clean! Complimentary breakfast pastries were fabulous!
Two repair suggestions: bathtub drain needs tweaking; water went down before I could have a bath. Also, water leaks around sink faucets.
Husband and I are glad we stayed- but it would have been respectful to tell us ahead of time that construction noise would be waking us at 8:00 am.

”I worked with Ayisha at the front desk to add a day to our stay prior to our arrival. She was very kind and helpful. Upon arrival there was some confusion on the amount owed for the extra day because we used a 3rd party to book the other nights. Following a call from the front desk to report to the front desk after check-in, the issue was resolved.
The room was clean.
We did not use any of the amenities.
Plenty of parking.
The door at the end of the hall closest to our room was...

”This is a nice, budget-friendly option. The neighborhood and outdoor space lacks a bit of appeal, but nonsmoking room was nice. I’d ask for nonsmoking and first floor if smell of smoke bothers you. Upstairs hall (our second room in group) was pretty pungent of smoke and the hall wreaks. But no smoking room was great. No complaints.”

”There was a wedding that night that was louder than most concerts I’ve been too.
I’m all about a good time but everything in the room was vibrating and went on til 10:30.
The staff even asked them to lower it a little bit and they did for about 5 minutes and then turned back up.
I would just check if there are any events going on before staying here again.”
