Historic home so we expect the tiny door into the small room. We expect the themed rooms to compliment the hunter theme. Huge turkey was a turn off above the bed. We did not appreciate the dust all around, old beds, and stains on bedding. Kitchen pots and pans need updating. We ordered out food for most of our meals. Never heard back from with host...

”Great little place to stay in Frederick for a couple or small family. House was clean and up to date with good Wi-Fi and well set up kitchen. Best part was being able to walk into the center of town for shops and restaurants in 5 minutes! Highly recommended!!”

”Cute for 2 people, but if you have trouble with steps look for a different location. Bed in main bedroom was VERY tall off the ground and hard to get into for a 5 foot tall woman. Clean property, but although sleeps 6 is stated in rental, it was comfortable for myself and my friend on our girls weekend. Give local restaurant Black Bear Tavern a 5 star rating also. EXCELLENT service, selection, food was amazing and entertainment was spot on for what we were looking for. Location nearby...

”What a wonderful, relaxing, tranquil retreat. David and Pearle were such gracious hosts, providing so many amenities for our comfort/enjoyment. Morning coffee on the dock and evenings in the hot tub with beautiful lake views were a great way to start and end each day. We enjoyed roasted marshmallows and s'mores by the campfire. The information binder on the counter was so helpful, especially for giving us ideas of places to visit in the area, such as Swallow Falls State Park, Deep Creek State...
