”There are flies everywhere in the kitchen, which is absolutely unacceptable. The air conditioning is on a timer, so in the middle of the night you end up overheating — especially if you like sleeping under blankets. For some reason, they think it’s fine to turn off the AC in guest rooms, yet the lobby AC stays on for them 24/7. How rude and inconsiderate — it feels like they care only about their own comfort, not their guests’. Who puts air conditioning on a timer in a hot country like Laos? On...

”For a cheap hostel in Luang Prabang, this was great. I loved that everything was in good walking distance such as the Phosi Hill and the night market, However, some things to consider, this hostel didn't have much in the way of security. We weren't given any key to the front door or room meaning everything was open and anyone could walk in at any time. Also keep in mind that there are no lockers in the room, on top of this the showers and toilets were not very clean, all for £5 a night you can't...
