”Rental too far from center of town. Need a vehicle to get to town, or a very long walk.The frig leaked water on the kitchen floor. The fire/smoke alarms went off a couple of times during stay, but the last evening they went off three times, the last time at 12:45 A. M. Very annoying.”

”We really enjoyed our stay in the Shepherds Hut and the views were amazing. The only disappointment was that there was no welcome pack providing instruction on how things worked. There was also no telephone contact details in case of any issues,etc. When we arrived there was not hot water and it was only by trial and error that we managed to find out that the gas bottle was empty, luckily the other bottle was full and I was aware how to manually change them over. ”Wonderful place to stay. Very close to the old course. We had lunch at the Tom Morris Bar and Grill, which I recommend booking well in advance. We also played 18 holes of putting on the Himalayan greens. Charlie was great at communicating with us and was there to meet us at checkin and help with parking.Even a nice, secluded outdoor patio.If you're staying in St Andrew and need space for a large group, this is a great place.
