The people that work there are great very helpful. The property is very nice. Went for a short drive for something to eat. Scumbags everywhere. Went to bed wondering if my vehicle was going to be broke into. Las Cruces should like every American city ran by the Democrats. It's going down

The areas on the outskirts of the property were just bare empty lots that appeared to be rundown (not the property itself)

Tried to get an accessible room for my wife but the hotel said I had to get Expedia to approve. Didn’t know I made it through Expedia! Couldn’t get a response or answer from them. Had to buy a $80 toilet riser for her. I’ll never use Expedia again. Count on it. I know how to make direct reservations now.

The elevator was dirty, lobby floor had stains. Also, indicating the Organ Mountains makes you assume the hotel is in the east side of the city. The room was clean.

We liked that the rooms were accessed indoors through hallways and secured outer doors. We didn't like the lack of maintenance, e.g., shower lever was loose and not working properly and broken office chair in front of desk.

In our pre-stay communications, the staff was very responsive and prompt, especially regarding a 1st floor room that allowed a pet. Sadly, I pre-paid and didn't take out the trip. insurance coverage. When our granddaughter was diagnosed with the leukemia 20 days before our reservation date and we had to cancel our stay at the LaQuinta, the motel denied our request for a hardship-based refund. That was their legal right to do so, but lacked the same compassion they had demonstrated in reply to our initial request.

Staff was very friendly. It was next to a cracker barrell, and close to a walmart and starbucks. The pool was not working, only 1 ice machine worked in the hotel, the curtain had holes in it, the shower head was rusted. It was a decent hotel though due to the staff and the cleanliness.

This hotel is old and rundown. Several things were broken and not working. It seemed obvious the management did not put emphasis on keeping the property up to standards. Our room had massive carpet stains and the mat inside the shower/tub had disgusting black stains under it. It had obviously not been cleaned. The hotel needs upgrading badly.

The breakfast was decent and the staff were friendly. The overall condition of the property was very poor. The bathtub was unusable and the floors were filthy especially along the walls and in the hallways. Safety was questionable as we were approached by an unhoused man while we were unpacking our car.
