”Great location with a nice atmosphere, but service at reception was very disappointing. Before arrival I tried arranging airport transport via the hotel’s WhatsApp, but only received automated replies. They finally responded on the day of arrival, saying they couldn’t provide transport. Thankfully, we found a great taxi driver at the airport.
Check-in went smoothly, but they forgot to give us wristbands, which caused issues the next day. We stayed in a tipi, which was clean with a comfortable...

Quiet oasis short walk away from noisy Mancora centre. Huge terrace to have breakfast, which was simple but filling.
Rooms are spacious and air-conditioned, with comfortable bedding. Big shower cubicle.
Staff is very responsive, my Spanish is not the greatest, so sometimes things got lost in translation, but we managed.
Oh, did I mention that the hotel has 12 cats?”

”The property is awesome and really comfortable, it has everything you need.The team is outstanding, from Grecia, the manager taking care of all our questions and needs; and Liz and Mayra preparing all our meals. They were always there helping with anything and making sure you feel at home.We hope we can come back soon.”

”We really enjoyed our stay at La Capitanna. The view is amazing and so was the food. We had their pizza and the breakfast was great (specifically the bread). Can't say enough good things about the hospitality as well everyone was so nice and we really loved the dogs. They went on a walk with us both days to keep us company. ”
