”Never been before in guesthouse, but after experinced Bitra Bed & Breakfast, I can highly recommend! Situated in beautiful Icelandic scenery, having an interesting history and excellent service. Breakfast was tasty and delicious - but there wasnt real coffee, only instant coffee. Althouhgt it didnt matter us, ’cause we are tea person. Anyhow, if coming again to Iceland, definetly staying again at Bitra Bed & Breakfast!”

”Nice questhouse-hostel. Ous room was clean and bathroom quite new. The hot pools in the garden were great! We didn't have breakfast, but were allowed to use the small kitchen in one of the buildings. Only minus was the air ventilation: in the mornings the air was quite bad and heavy but the windows can be opened so it wasn't a big deal. The dogs and cats were funny. There's no restaurants or such nearby, so you are going to need a car.”

”Had the most amazing stay here. Beautifully appointed cottages with panoramic views surrounding. The cottages are amazing inside, warm, cozy and the most incredible bed. Shower is rainfall, bathroom was well equipt and the communication throughout was amazing! ”This was our second trip to Iceland for hiking. This place is amazing! Lots of room, very comfortable and quiet. Very modern, clean, and well-laid out. Great eating area, plenty of room for relaxing, and great windows with a spectacular view. We launched from here to hike at Glymur Canyon, Haifoss Falls, and Skogafoss trail, all under a 2 hour drive. Also, very close is a great hike called Midfell at Fludir. Easy drive to Vic. We also made it to Mulagljufur Canyon (spectacular) near the Glacier...
