”An adorable quiet and private cabin with everything needed to live and cook comfortably. Ideally a washer/dryer on site would be preferred (although washing in the sink and drying on the radiator works fine). It’s ideally located for day trips around the golden circle including 2 different thermal soaking pools within 30 minute drives. You can even see the geyser erupt from the deck. The door lock sticks but we eventually figured it out.”

”We have enjoyed staying at this cottage very much. Kept ourselves very busy exploring Iceland to the fullest during the days, comming back in the evening we felt welcomed and had everything what we needed to rest and enjoy some off time. We had perfect weather but even if we didnt we would happily just stay at the cottage enjoying ourselves. We just had a bit of trouble getting the hot water going and the pipes make a lot of noise while you use the shower, but other than that, we loved it here and would love to come back! ”Wir haben die letzte Woche und den perfekten Abschluss unserer Elternzeitreise mit unserem 8 Monate alten Baby im Backyard Village bei Oskar und Emma in Hveragerði verbracht. Die beiden sind wahnsinnig nett und immer erreichbar, die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich und sauber und wir hatten auch für unser Baby alles, was wir brauchten. Perfekt ist zudem die Lage. ”Our family absolutely loved the Hekla Hilltop cabin. The hot tub, the record player, the "cave", and the location! Short drive to the Geyser and Gullfoss. Mitten im Golden Circle gelegen, kann man von hier aus viel erkunden. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich, sympathisch und hilfsbereit. ”Lovely vacation home with tons of amenities and beautiful views. The kitchen was topnotch and well stocked--tons of pots, plates and glasses. The hosts had even provided salt, pepper, sugar and coffee which was much appreciated. The bath towels were very new and very soft. Ample closet space throughout the home.
