The Hocking Hills region boasts some of the most unique and beautiful landscape in the Northeast. This stunning private property features walking trails, treetop views, cliffs and caves. The surrounding area includes state parks, national forests, hiking trails, caves, canoeing, adventure parks, zip-lining, rock climbing, horse trails, as well as year-round festivals, winery and brewery events. Idyll Reserve is minutes away from the area's main attractions.

The North cabin has about 10 steps from parking to front door (The South Studio and The Main House (Idyll Reserve | 1 & 2) were built with guests with limited mobility in mind).

The North Studio, closest to the private trail is the perfect place to connect with nature. This cabin sleeps up to 4, featuring a large great room with fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living and dining area and a gas fireplace.
We have just added a beautiful new outdoor oasis to The North, featuring a private sauna, hot tub, fire pit and lounge.

We recommend driving your own vehicle as ride-sharing and public transit are limited in our area. The driveway is gravel and offers parking space for 2 to 3 cars at each cabin. 2 EV chargers are located on the property and available for your use.

In winter, a 4x4 car is recommended for the Hillside Cabin & the North Cabin (Idyll Reserve | 4 and 5) as they are at the end of a long steep drive which may be slippery in icy conditions. If needed, 2-wheel drive cars can be parked near the upper cabins and the drive walked.

We have great cell coverage at Idyll (top of a big hill), but coverage in the Hocking Hills region can be spotty. We recommend downloading the directions before heading out.

Propane for gas grill and firewood for fire pit provided. There is a pack-n-play with bedding, a high chair, and children's dishes and utensils stored in each cabin. Extraordinarily well-behaved dogs are welcome at this cabin (The North), The Cabin and The Hillside (Idyll Reserve | 3, 4 & 5).
