Stay in Wengen
My husband and I stayed in this apartment for 5 nights. The property was exactly as pictured, and was perfectly clean. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony in the evenings, having a glass of wine while listening to the chorus of cowbells all around us. We couldn’t get the AC to work, but we did not reach out to the property mgmt about it- we just opened the windows at night. The location was very easy, just a few minutes walk from the train station and coop (grocery). We cooked many of our dinners at the property, and found the kitchen perfectly equipped. There is a nespresso for coffee. Overall, the apartment was plenty spacious for 2 adults.
The property mgmt office was also very convenient, about a block away from the train station. We spoke with 2 people there, who were both very friendly and accommodating.
Wengen was the perfect home base for us and our hiking/sightseeing around the Bernese oberland region. We used the Berner oberland pass, which covered every train/gondola/boat in the region. We left a pair of hiking poles for future guests to use.
If we ever get to go back to Wengen, I would want to stay here again. We loved our stay!
