”Let's start with where the hotel is located, Le Mar Iowa.... also known as "the sewer city" for the smell. In the room I stayed in the past was coming off the walls, the sheets were dirty, the bathroom floor tiles were broken and coming up.”

”Rooms were very clean, the free breakfast actually had a great selection of pastries, eggs, sausage, pancakes. Hot coffee and assortment of juices. Staff was busy keeping up with the amount of people that were there for breakfast. Extremely helpful and courteous. Overall, a great stay and highly recommend.”

”Helpful desk clerk for check in. Suggested Bob and Ellen’s across the street for a bite and brew. Topped off the meal with strawberry and mango gelato ”

”The place is pretty rough and not worth the price. My door wouldn't stay closed. The shower curtain rod looked like it was broken and relocated multiple times with some spackling over the old holes but no paint or primer. Bathtub faucet was dripping and there were hard water stains in the tub and it looked dirty. Lot's of caulk around the bathroom tiles and walls. Cracks in the ceiling that had been roughly spackled over. Just generally run down and in disrepair.”

”You would think that the Hilton could do better than angel soft single ply toilet paper, and soaps that don't make you smell like an old lady, or have a bed that doesn't sink in the middle. Speaking of sinks, the drain plug popped off with the smallest touch. They don't even offer breakfast, and expect you to shell out at their restaurant. Unless you don't have to worry about money, you would be better off at a Best Western, where us basic plebians go to have a better experience than the Hilton...

”Spider webs stains in curtains water in tub wouldn't completely shut off. No continental breakfast. Smelled stale and old. Wall paper pealing. Outside looked terrible and un inviting. Back hurts from the bed almost 36 hrs later. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone... personally would like a full refund..”
