Residenssit – Le Grand-Bornand

”Chalet was perfect for family of 4, and the swimming pool a bonus for the kids. Ski bus stop was very close, and its a beautiful area. On the listing the map shows the location as Les Esserts which was wrong - however in the end we were glad we were down in the valley on the outskirts of Morillon. In the mornings we got the ski bus to the telecabine, and after skiing generally walked back to the chalet which took about 15 mins. This was only possible as we left our rented skis in the hire shop...

”Keskeinen sijainti aivan ski-bussipysäkin vieressä. Lyhyt matka kävellen keskustaan. Talon kellarissa edullinen parkkihalli joka tosin todella ahtaasti rakennettu. Aika pieni perushuone jossa surkea tv ja kohtalainen keittiö. Wifi ala-arvoinen, ei päässyt edes megaseen yhteyteen. Firmalla ei ole ilmeisesti ollenkaan emailia joten kommunikointi hankalaa ennen matkaa. Vastaanotto ei ole koko aikaa auki, mutta respan porukka osasi jopa englantia ja oli ystävällistä. Suosittelen niille jotka käyvät...

”We absolutely loved the pool area and spent a lot of time there. The views are amazing too. Apartment was well furnished and worked well for our family of five. Summer pass was great advantage. There was one Spar very close and some other groceries nearby. The Super U was 30min away.”

”Nice place with good breakfast and pool. Note it’s more of a lodge style place and not a regular hotel. You’ll need a car to reach most places in Chamonix centre and most lifts, we had a rental and did not check out any buses. Good value for money - Chamonix-style.”

”After long day we expected that beds are ready for three of us. Like normally they are. Well, prepare to do your own bed. Also remember to do cleaners work, one rubbish bag is there. You just need to add in to the bin. If you want to bath, bring your own plug for the bathtub. Dont use too much toilet paper either, there is half roll of it and no spare. I would not choose to have breakfast in here. You cant even have eggs even if you ask for those before coming. If you want to have warm...

”Great place to stay, just off the village square, right next to the Mont Blanc Hotel, and two minutes walk from Le Chamois Télécabine. A quiet, calm and convenient location - especially for getting on the first lifts. Could do with refreshing the cutlery and crockery as a couple of items missing, but that is the worst it gets. The only word of warning, make sure you order the bedding and towels beforehand as they are not included in the base price. ”
