”The Villas at Victor Hugo was a lovely place. Very convenient for our days in Avignon. The Expedia listing for the apartments is incorrect in that it lists washer and dryer for the apartments - but it seems that there is only one or two apartments that have that amenity. This was a big negative but not a reflection of the host as they have repeatedly tried to get Expedia to correct the error.”

”The listing description is mostly accurate but it left out two very important items when staying in Avignon in the July heat. First- there is no air conditioning. It was 100 degrees during our stay and the bedrooms are in the attic and the apartment is on the second floor. It was so incredibly hot in the evening, it was difficult to sleep. ”Everything with the unit was good except parking is a very big challenge. You cannot get within 3-4 blocks of the unit with a car because it is in a restricted area. The stairwell to get to the unit is very dark, narrow and winding. It was very difficult to manage luggage. The host needs to provide more detail about these things before arrival.”

”The property was beautiful and well stocked with everything you would need for a long term stay (my stay was unfortunately only 2 nights). Mika and Michel were lovely hosts. The location is close to the Marseille airport, so perfect for an early morning return flight. It is also centrally located to many places to visit / especially Aix en Provence. ”
