”This was a very funky hotel billed as a bed and breakfast. The property is well over 100 years old and clearly has some deferred maintenance issues, but it was so cool and funky. I would go back in a heartbeat. I’m sure the staff is really good but when I showed up there, the door was locked there was nobody at the desk. Nobody responded to my ringing the bell and nobody answered the phone, so at that point as I was getting really frustrated. I looked down and saw an envelope with my name on it...

”Room was clean. Staff were nice and responsive. But building is old and kind of run down. Our TV kept shutting itself off and rebooting, the fridge in the room did not work, and things were just generally run down. But overall we enjoyed our stay.”

”We stay there at least once a year, and it is always great. The desk person is always helpful, the rooms are always clean. There is a store where you check in. It's just a cool place.”

”Unique structure and history of the property makes for a memorable stay. No elevator and steep stairs makes it difficult for seniors, with no concierge. Parking is street, self only, making for a scramble to find parking after 5. Staff very pleasant.”
