The Shire - Ground Level Condo on the Greens

Welcome to The Shire! This ground-level condo is located right on the greens of Kahler Glen Golf Course, whether you’re a golfer or not you’ll surely enjoy the manicured view from this rejuvenated condo.

Adorned with rustic decor and simple embellishments you will feel right at home as soon as you step inside the front door and lay your eyes on this airy floor plan.  The practical kitchen has all the fixings to create a fabulous meal while keeping up with the conversations in the living or dining areas or watching golfers pass by outside.  The leather sofas are an ideal place to cuddle and watch a nostalgic movie, catch the big game or sit with your loved ones and create new memories to cherish.  Bring your morning coffee or evening beverage out to the covered patio and let the stresses of everyday life melt away as you sink into the cozy furniture and feel the breeze blow through your hair. An ideal home for a small family, this condo has a spacious queen master bedroom complete with an attached bathroom as well as a bedroom featuring 1 twin and 1 full-sized bed and a second bathroom across the hall.

Downtown Leavenworth is 19.8 miles from this home.

Ski Get Away

Perfect location and super property. Clean, comfortable, and spacious. We have stayed at this location a couple of times to be close to Stevens Pass Ski Resort. Easy access to the mountain with a lot of extra perks at Kahler Glen and Lake Wenatchee.

Relaxing comfort!

A perfect place to chill in October. We try to visit Kahler Glenn at least once a year. Rented many places since discovering in the 1990's camping at Lake Wenatchee. We are in our late 60's. Bring fire logs (maybe a little wine...and enjoy the view.) Just perfect. Cudos to the Caffe' D'arte coffee.

Great location, ski out the door

Nice place. Beds were Comfy and Wonderful to ski and snow shoe right from the porch. The wireless password didn’t work when we arrived but the folks at the rental agency were helpful and worked with my son to get the router reset so it was a non-issue. We are foodies so if you plan to do your own Cooking as we did be aware that there are plenty of plates, glasses and fry pans but only one baking dish-Suggest you bring your own cookie sheet, pizza pan and pizza cutter if you plan to bake/cook. I’ve learned to pack those items and was glad I did. We had a great vacation !

A week away to hike

Very comfortable, clean accommodations. Quiet and close to lots of activities. Golfing, hiking, lakes and rivers. We had a relaxing time of hiking, hiking and hiking. - Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Nice but needs improvement

With the amount of money paid the place should have been better. Small, hard master bed. I wish it was a king. Both bathroom sinks drained slow (might be clogged). Fire place smoked up the place even though I followed the directions laid out by the property owner. Property owner gave us directions to take the garbage out before we left but the location was locked and no clear signage so we had to drive home with the garbage. Bird poo on the outdoor furniture so we couldn’t sit on it.

Leavenworth Trip

Our stay at The Shire was just delightful. Unit was well equipped and fully functional (everything working properly). Beds were a bit a small for us but comfortable. We didn't do a lot of cooking while were there but had everything we needed when we did. Overall, our stay at the Shire was delightful and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We hope to return some time in the future.

Lovely location set in the hills above Lake Wenatchee. Cross country skiing and snowshoeing right outside the door. The home was inviting and had everything we needed after a day in the snow.

Wonderful Getaway by the Lake Wenatchee State Park

What a gem! So cozy and fresh, also sparkling clean. Very spacious and comfortable for 6 people not feeling crowded. Can't wait to come back in winter. Apparently, you can jump on the cross-country trail right of the door! Wild Flour restaurant on Kahler Glen is one of the best in the area and highly recommended for romantic inner or fab brunch. Property managers were amazingly nice and patient with all our questions and several date-change requests.
