”Rosevears was a beautiful setting a top the River. The accommodations were satisfactory where the view is the highlight. The reception and dining room is detached from the individual cabins which is a bit of an inconvenience to walk to especially if it's raining, but when the sun is shining the outdoor terrace makes for a most spectacular experience. The staff is so kind and helpful and it is the best place to stay on the river.”

”Room was a good size, and we were able to park right out the front. Breakfast was lovely, big selection of cereals, yogurt and breads available. Was lovely to have the electric fire going in the room. Clear instructions received on how to use the digital key pad at the front door, and the location of our room. Located close to the CBD. Would happily stay again if visiting Launceston.”

”The garden was a very peaceful place to chill out. The bed was comfortable & the rooms were very clean. There are two off street parking areas which are close to the rooms. The shopping centre is a 2 minute walk to everything you may need.”

”Excellent property to stay at and very friendly staff members. Location was a bit outside central Launceston but still reasonably walkable to city restaurants. I would stay again.”

”It was a great central location, be sure to have a coffee and yummy home cooked Greek food for breakfast or lunch down the next corner at the Flying Sparrow. Excellent coffee!!”

”Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable, had breakfast and our 35th wedding anniversary dinner in the restaurant, all was excellent. good location close to everything.”

”Overall might have been a lovely stay but if you are handed the keys to room 6 turn around forget your money and go elsewhere. Directly on the main road, at the top of the stairs so you join in everyones conversations. Also directly above the noisy doo that enters the building. We had to make door jams with our pizza box to stop our door shaking eberytime the downstairs door opened.”

”The Florance was a great place to stay from every perspective. Room was excellent well fitted out and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The location is great over the road from the Botanical Gardens and on the edge of the city. If you are an AFL fan down for the footy (as I was) the location is only a 10-15 minute stroll to the ground. Pub over the road was good for a meal. Will definitely return.”

”We loved this historic property. It still had all the comforts of a modern facility. The heated blanket was a big hit. The receptionist/manager was very welcoming and helpful with information about Tasmania. It was very clean.”

”Great location, easy to find, great space for a family or travelling group and room was equipped with everything you could possibly need, staff were pleasant and the whole facility is immaculately kept and presented. We always find the accommodations at big4’s to represent exceptional value for money, and this one exceeded our expectations still.”

”The patio hadn't been cleaned ,dirty socks,dirty nappy on ground outside in the bushes , decomposed so been there awhile . The double bed on rollers kept moving , had to push it against wall to stop it. The bed was very hard . Single bed didn't have a very a decent doonna on very light weight , so even with aircon on the bed and room was cold .Shower was very light on water and very hard to regulate and so very close to toilet so very little room to move in there”
