”Hard to tell if the hotel is new or old. It’s modern but has worn furniture/fixtures in some places. We had all we needed and were comfortable in our suite.”

”We had a wonderful stay at Loyd Hall Plantation and were really impressed with how the staff handled unexpected issues. The first room I originally requested showed as available, but due to heavy weather the night before, the roads had flooded and housekeeping was unable to clean it in time. The staff communicated this quickly and kindly upgraded us to the camilia Suite instead. When we arrived, we did notice the A/C in that suite wasn’t working properly. ”We got a suite and it was beautiful. We didn't know the fridge was gonna be a full size that was a nice surprise. And the kitchen sinks bigger then mine. Plenty of room for the 5 of us (nephews staying for the summer). Only con was the bathroom has a barn door style and we would of liked a little more privacy. But the room divider curtain was a nice touch.”

”Very nice property; clean room; staff very helpful & attentive. Renovated recently and looked great. Easy parking. I was unable to set or change the temp on the A/C unit and it was quite warm in our room. I reported it at check-out & I’m sure they’ll handle the necessary repair. Otherwise, it was a very nice stay.”

”Good shower head and adequate water pressure, better than we've dealt with lately in the same areas. Breakfast was better, although the hotels need to put a dress code for in place for the guests. Not everyone wants to see your night gown.”
