The breakfast was not quite at the level we expected but could be easily improved. ”Robin was one of the staff who checked in us. Very welcoming and kind. We visited Seattle for our anniversary and she did her best to make our stay special. Hotel is in good location and walkable to every part of the town. Good cafes around. Expensive valet but I guess it is much more convenient and safer compared to other parking around. The hotel itself is a bit outdated and lobby needs some upgrades.”

”The Hotel Sorento is a beautiful historic hotel that maintains its original air of glamor and luxury from days gone by. My corner suite was absolutely beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and the food from the restaurant in the lobby, Stella, was superb. I was able to walk to Pike Market, and there are many restaurants and shops adjacent to the hotel as well, making it convenient to eat and to shop. I would definitely stay there again.”

”This is my first time using a shared house. The guests from New Zealand are wonderful! I did not interact with the other guests, but they are cordial and civil. Overall, the entire place is clean; the kitchen, the refrigerator, the laundry room, and the living room are well kept.”

Unfortunately, the customer service did not match the luxury standard the hotel advertises. During our stay, we called the front desk from the room phone three separate times with no answer, which was frustrating and disappointing. ”New, clean building. Rooms are on the smaller side, and designed with poor ergonomics which makes for an uncomfortable stay. Had some trouble communicating with the front desk. We did not receive housekeeping service for a 5 night stay, this is unacceptable. The bathroom door is sliding frosted glass so doesn’t latch shut or lock and leaks a lot of light into the room during the night when in use.
