”It was the short weekend runaway we needed and were looking forward to. It's a quick ride to Pittsfield but we decided to cross the border to Manchester, VT. The place was as described, quiet, clean, secluded but easy to find. The Lake was fantastic but, due to weather, decided against taking the kayaks out. Perhaps next time. ”Lovely home. Plenty of room for all of us (11 adults, 2 children). Generally very clean. Plenty of cooking materials, linens, etc. T.v. with huge screen. Two kitchens plus bbq grill. Nice location. Negatives: - Stove tops and oven were not clean. Oven smoked when we first turned it on and the smoke alarm did not go off. - No AC. Fans were fine for us in May but it might be warm in August.Overall, we had a great time. We would stay at this house again. ”
