”We came here for a family reunion. The house is beautifully decorated and updated. It is the best stocked VRBO rental we have seen. We were lacking for nothing. The basement activities were fun for everyone. The playroom for the younger children is wonderful! It was an easy check in and out. Kathy, the hostess was very responsive to questions. ”This was one of the best rentals we’ve stayed at in Galena. We have stayed at a lot of them. Incredibly quiet and peaceful. Love the TV watching setup and the furniture was comfortable. So unusual in a rental. Both my husband and I have back issues so need support and a way to put up our feet. First time we went home without pain/discomfort. Loved that one of the showers was a normal size and not a tiny square. We stayed for a week and didnt need the air conditioning with the windows open...

”The pictures do not do the home justice. Huge!! We had a fun group of 12 adults that had MORE than enough room for sleeping and private space. Bonus points for sharing the property with the resident beaver, he’s a doll in the morning. Don’t pass this rental by! We can’t wait to book again and stay longer to get a chance to enjoy the home more.”

”We thoroughly enjoyed a long weekend stay at the Brixton Ivy Ranch! We were there for a family reunion celebrating our golden wedding anniversary. We had 19 people, and we never once felt that the house was crowded! There was room for everyone. Our host, Mark, was on site and ready to answer any questions that we had. There were animals for the kids to go and enjoy petting and being close to. There is a giant hot tub that provided lots of enjoyment for everyone! A beautiful sand volleyball court...
