”15 minute walk into Avignon and about the same into Villeneuve. Everyone probably knows about Avignon but Villeneuve is the nicer and quieter location to spend an evening with many top class restaurants - try Flo's! The property is basic but provides a good breakfast and an excellent roof top area for panoramic views and chilling outside. Some of the rooms are very small but we were luckily offered a free upgrade. A rail line runs next to the property and so could disturb if you are a lighter...

”Charmed by Hotel de Charme! This lovely, lovely family owned hotel has to be one on the most beautiful we have ever stayed in. On arrival, we were greeted with warmth and given room to store our bicycles in the lobby! Too kind. We were then treated to a tour of the rooms by one of the family, each is a different, beautifully decorated jewel in this grand old building. We were in awe of all the work that has been done. ”Just amazing service!! We felt quite agitated after being involved in a car accident that wasn't our fault, and needed to drive with a bad rental car for 6hours to reach the hotel. The receptionist was amazing! His way of being and interacting with us was something very special and he made us relax immediately. He could read the situation so well!! We were also upgraded immediately and despite having booked a beautiful room we got even bigger room with a private terasse. We dined in the hotel...

”Kiva ja viihtyisä hotelli n. 2,5km kylän keskustasta. Siistit huoneet, ainoana miinuksena liian pehmeä patja. Näin kuumimpaan aikaan etäisyys kylille liian pitkä kävellen eli auto on välttämätön, jos ei tukeudu täysin hotellin juoma-/ruokatarjontaan. Söimme yhtenä iltana hotellilla ja ruoka oli hyvää, mutta ainakin itse haluamme myös nähdä muuta elämää. Loistava tukikohta alueen viinitarjontaan tutustumiseksi ja automatkan päässä on myös paljon muuta nähtävää.”
