”The Inn was quiet, convenient and offered excellent food.”

”I was a little nervous booking at a motel with my family but was limited with my own poor planning booking for a lacrosse tournament at UMass. I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and ease of everything. We did need to ask for extra sheets for the pullout bc they were not in the room, and even with the owners dealing with a family emergency they were very attentive and we had everything we needed. It was an easy 17 minute drive to UMass and very affordable.”

”Lovely updated property. Small pool and had issues with the AC in the gym but the lovely staff, nice breakfast and clean updated amenities made up for it. I would return.”

”Everything was very decent. My one issue was overnight the fridge defrosted and I had a puddle on the floor. I cleaned it up with a shower towel. The staff apologized and was willing to have somebody look at it. It only happened that one time during my two day stay. This one incident was unfortunate, but I would stay here again”

”The historic Inn is beautifully maintained and updated and provides a unique experience of staying in a home dating back to the 1600's. Breakfast was delicious and Megan the cook was welcoming and helpful. We always stay at the Black Walnut Inn when in Amherst!”

”Quaint and comfortable stay for our one night in the most adorable town of Shelburne Falls. A walk to the river and the bridge of flowers at sunset gave us the most beautiful pictures. Owner was kind and helpful. We stayed here while my son biked at Thunder Mountain-a quick easy 10 min drive away and would stay again.”

”It was a clean room and had all the amenities, I also liked that they provided some snacks as I came in late night. The only issue I had was when other people closed their doors it sounded like someone was hitting my door.”

”Tucked away in a beautiful, off-the-beaten-path location, this spot is the perfect escape. The rooms are incredibly comfortable and well-appointed, the food is amazing, and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel at home.”

”We spent the night after a wedding in nearby Northampton. It was a lovely place to return to at the end of a long day. We enjoyed our breakfast the following morning, both the buffet selections (especially the coffee cake muffins) as well as our conversation with staff member Kristen. We always try to support small businesses in the places where we travel and the Dasniel Stebbins House did not disappoint!”
