You will not find a better place to stay in Frankfort! The place was beautiful - rooms were spacious and gorgeously decorated, the view was impressive, and we were very close to the distilleries. Our hosts were the best! Mark gave us great recommendations that made our first trip so much more enjoyable - from how to make the most of touring the bourbon trail to places to dine, it was a true VIP experience.

Top of the Rock was a beautiful place to stay. It had everything we needed. Unfortunately, it was too hot out and we couldn't use the firepit. The hot tub is a nice amenity. The kitchen is well stocked, the towels are nice and the beds are comfy. Mark was very quick to respond and gave great recommendations for food and drinks nearby.We are already planning our next bourbon trip, and will definitely be staying here in the future.

Frankfort 2025 vacation

Top of the Rock was a wonderful vacation stay. Four of us had plenty of room. Having two full bathrooms is a must for us with 2 teen girls. Another feature we always look for is a washer and dryer which was user friendly. The view from the back porch was gorgeous. All the accommodations were as advertised and there weren't any surprises. Our host, Mark, made sure to frequently check on us. We appreciated that. The location was perfect. Every place we wanted to be at was just a few quick minutes from the house.

Highly recommend! It’s a great apartment in a perfect spot for exploring the bourbon trail. We had everything we needed and it was very clean. Definitely one of the better VRBO’s we’ve stayed in! Mark was awesome and very hospitable. He went out of his way to be an ideal host. We’ll be back!

Bourbon trail weekend

Had 4 of us from Michigan come down here for the weekend. Beautiful weather for bourbon tasting. 55' and sunny. Enjoyed the great views from this place. Used the hot tub both nights. Grilled steaks over an open fire Saturday night. Thank you!

Fall 2024 KY Trip

Property was exactly as described but even better! I had several questions prior to arrival and Mark was very responsive and helpful. The beds were comfortable, we all slept soundly. The home brought all of the local flare that we hoped to see. Very well decorated from top to bottom. The view was amazing and Mark even provided us with firewood for the evenings. Close to everything that we wanted to do and see. Looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend!!!

Bourbon lovers dream.

Top of the rock has been one of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed at. The owners are great, friendly, and helpful in every way. Its location to see all the distilleries in the area is great, within one hour of most if not all the best ones in KY. You feel like you are staying at one of the distillers privately. The views are the best in the area, morning coffee on the patio is relaxing and breathtaking. Will be going back as soon as we can...

Horsey Hundred Getaway

This was our third consecutive year staying at the Too of the Rock. We’ve been riding the organized Georgetown cycling event for several years - but after finding this beautiful home - we plan to continue as long as we’re able to ride. The Stampers are excellent hosts. The home is beautiful and well appointed. Location is close to everything. Frankfort is a beautiful capital city. Good good, good people and good times all for the taking. We will be back.
