”We had a great two night stay at Farington Lodge. The room was very large and clean. Staff were great and helpful. The breakfast choice was very good. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. My starter could have been a main course, it was so big. The roast main course was fantastic, with lots of roast beef. The grounds are good for a little stroll. Recommended for a break with a bit of class.”

”We had a fabulous stay at 172a Longmeanygate. Such a quiet spot yet close access for the motorways. We got to the Lakes, Yorkshire Dales, Castle Howard and Bank Hall as well as visiting friends and relatives while we were here from New Zealand. The cottage was very well equipped but my husband's only critisism was that the bed was too small 🙃”

”The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained with good decor. The bathroom had a powerful shower and enough room around the basin for your wash bags. Lighting in the bathroom is always an issue for me (!) so as usual I had my mirror on the window sill in search of natural light. We ate in the pub on the first night, sharing a platter. Good menu. My partner sampled the local beer and was pleased he did. Although a full breakfast was on offer we just had a yoghurt & some toast. The toast...

"Hinta-laatu -suhteeltaan tämä on kolmen tähden hotelli, ei neljän. Rakennus on hieno vanha talo Liverpoolin keskustassa, hotellilta on vain muutaman minuutin kävelymatka Merseyn rantaan ja Cavernin kaltaisille nähtävyyksille. Aamiainen oli pettymys, sillä jos jossakin, niin Liverpoolissa kuvittelisi saavansa brittiläisen aamiaisen munien, papujen ja pekonin kera, mutta aamiaisella ei ollut tarjolla lämpimiä ruokia lainkaan! Huone oli rauhallinen ja nukuin hyvin."
