”The St. Clair in Frankfort is a charming boutique stay in a beautifully restored historic building, with loft-style studios full of character, an easy walk to downtown restaurants, and a convenient drive to nearby bourbon distilleries and Churchill Downs. There’s even a hidden speakeasy on-site, if you can solve the riddle to get in! Just know that, as with many historic loft properties, you may hear some noise from guests staying above you.”

”Air conditioning was great. The shower was hot but needs updated and throughly cleaned. No ice machine. If it was updated it would be worth the price”

”The new parking ramp is nice. The room was clean the breakfast was great. The hotel main floor was being renovated so the restaurant/bar was closed. There were construction noises starting early. The construction vehicles were all parked in the loading area on checkout so loading our luggage had to be done in the transit authority driveway, and that wasn't layed out for that.”

”We had some reservation issues where the funds had no been appropriated from online reservation to location. The hotel staff handled the situation upon check. Everything was seamless. Thank you.”

”The room was not ready on time, even though we arrived early. They said they would get to cleaning it right away, and still it was not ready on time. The floors were still wet when we walked in. Staff were smoking near the entrance regularly with the doors wide open.”

”The location was beautiful. But the house was very dirty and in need of much repair. The water smelled like poop. The toilet in our room was filled with waste. The ceiling downstairs right by the kitchen had a huge hole and pipes exposed. The front door was broken and needed much repair. The patio out back was filthy the kitchen a complete mess with dishes stacked in the sink. They had cats and dogs in the house and while I was eating a cat jumped up in my lap. ”Had me change rooms in the middle of my stay even though i told them i didn’t want to change rooms. Management was very rude to me. Management threatened to call the police on me and kick me out if i didn’t change my room at 12am after i got back from a 10hour shift. So i had to change my room in the middle of the night bc they said they didn’t have anything clean earlier in the morning.”

”Our room was very clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our breakfast was delicious, especially the omelette! And parking was easy. I would definitely stay here again!”
