”Avoid this one place. I never leave reviews, but if this helps one person it’s worth it. Our first room smelled like someone had a bunch of wet dogs in it, the clock didn’t work, and the tv speakers were blown. I thought it was a fluke and spoke with the gentleman at the front desk and asked for a new room; he moved us with no issue. ”Walked in to hair in the towel from a man shaving, cigarettes in the toilet and it was a non smoking room. Rest of room was clean. ”The Retreat Center offered a fabulous opportunity for a midpoint stop. The location and property were stunning. The drive into the property offered great promise of a comfortable stay. The after hours check in was simple and the access to the room was right off the main driveway. Parking was easily accessible and close to the unit.
The room itself was large, very clean, with a mini kitchen should it be necessary, and a single serve coffee pot was available.
