”We spent four nights here at the end of May - for us, a perfect time to visit, before the summer crowds! This coastline was a revelation. It’s absolutely beautiful. But not so good for swimming, it’s designed for surfing for sure! The house was pretty much as we expected. Spacious and well equipped, in a quiet area about half a mile from the beach and the centre of Somo. ”Cottage in centre of the village with a view of the historic church. Isla is a lovely historic village with a couple of bar/restaurants that were really good. The cottage was OK for our stay and a good base to visit the Cantabrian coast and mountains. Good size clean and tidy with plenty of towels and good bedding etc.. It's a little bit dated and needs some TLC to bring it into the expectations of 2023. Had a couple of problems with things that didn't work but lived with that rather than...

”We had a lovely stay in the apartment, which is located on the edge of Isla, but well in walking distance of the center and beaches. We enjoyed having breakfast in the small garden as well as dinner- we used the bbq several times. There are also good and affordable options for eating out in Isla We also enjoyed playing padel, the court is a bit worn-down, but still fine to play on. ”Rober and his wife are very kind and supportive and gave us a lot of hints for locations to visit. The perfectly clean house provides everything we needed during 9 days for a comfortable stay, especially as we prepared our own meals. We enjoyed to drink a fresh lemon from the garden and sit in front of the house, looking at the splendid mountain panorama in front of us.
