”We had a wonderful one-night stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the reception team made us feel very welcome and even accommodated an early check-in for all three of our rooms, which we really appreciated. The breakfast staff were equally impressive, friendly, kind, courteous, and willing to help. Their warm service made for a great start to the day. ”Good enough for a road side stay but some maintenance needed.”

”Room was cleaned as good as it could, but stinking moldy and moist, even bed sheets. In the morning, the pool was suppose to open at eight, we kept asking when they'll open it and they told 10 mins, 15 mins, soon... They opened it just when we had to give rooms away. Very unhappy kids and disappointed parents.”

”Room was fine for a one night stop. There is carpeting which seems old but overall the room was clean. We were traveling with two dogs so the low $15 fee was appreciated with no weight limit. Very close to restaurants and gas stations so perfect for some rest and a meal. Front desk attendant who checked me in was kind and quick. Breakfast was minimal but fine for a drink and a quick bite before getting on the road.”

”This is my third stay at this property. It has always had clean rooms, beautiful landscaping and is very quiet. They do provide cleaning during your stay without request. The staff is not super friendly or helpful and there are very minimal amenities - coffee is not available until 6 am which is not great for horse show visitors. Overall, it is a decent place to stay for the night and good value.”

”Room number 12 smells bad from cigarette smoke. There was no soap in the room. The walls were paper thin. Other than that it was a cheap motel that was okay to get enough sleep to keep driving again. No better than a 5/10 idk what these other reviews are talking about.”

”Ironclad was a wonderful place right in Fredericksburg, close to the town and restaurants. Our room was on the 2nd floor, no elevators, but it was okay. Sadly, the Bourbon room was closed, but the staff was ice enough to let us go down and look at the room. Very cool, would stay again!”
