”Lovely traditional B&B very close to the centre of Ambleside. The room was clean, warm and beautifully decorated. The bed was super comfortable! Joanna was a great host and I felt very welcome and safe as a solo guest. The breakfast room was charming and I enjoyed the vegetarian breakfast on offer. ”Having been to Glenridding many many times, this is the first I’ve stayed at Fairlight Guesthouse. It won’t be the last! It was a lovely place to stay; great bedroom, comfy bed, powerful shower, onsite parking, lovely staff and good breakfast. ”

”It was refreshing to stay somewhere with such individuality rather than the usual chain hotels.
Beautifully furnished throughout, with fabulous attention to detail, so much to look at.
Breakfast was excellent, a good range of continental and cooked choices, with local ingredients.
