”The room was lovely, attention to detail was excellent they thought of everything for the room or should I say suite! There was a hot tub outside that we used. Breakfast was served in our room….lots of choice for breakfast and the food was delicious. We had booked 3 nights but only stayed one night unfortunately. ”The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The owner made us very welcome which made the stay even more enjoyable. We also found out that Old Daltongate House is the oldest house in Ulverston. If we get a chance, we will certainly go back again.”

”I put in the postcode but car sat nav directed me as far as the local pub only! After turning down a wrong lane past the pub in the pitch dark (9pm on an October evening) ascending up at a dead end I rang the owner who instructed me to carry on past the pub for another 2 miles! ”A good location, great breakfast and friendly hosts combined for a lovely stay. I used the health club and went at a quite busy time (after work slot), I would advise visiting outside the peak hours if you can. Facilities at the gym/spa were great, it was just busy and not as clean etc as a result. Overall a great stay and will stay again next time i am in the area. ”

”Autumn Leaves hosts are lovely and gave us a really warm welcome, breakfast was amazing. Room was cosy and bed was comfy, spotlessly clean, just what you need for a short break. Also the bonus of free parking on the street, car park facing the property also. Will return, Thankyou 😊”

”Beautiful restoration of an old building with more work to be done on the windows and sills. Lovely, welcoming owners who were very helpful with any of our needs. Breakfast requirements texted the night before and ready for us at the specified time. Comfortable beds and modern bathroom with easy to use shower. Car parking space. What's not to like?”
