”Very nice place. Well maintained with a lovely hot tub. Good bar on site. We had some issues checking in and can only assume that was down to Expedia (we did not get key code which caused some issues). Would return.”

”The reason I haven’t scored 5 is that Expedia sold us a room that had issues with noise / cooking smells as it’s above the kitchen and is noisey and smelly when the staff are cooking. We stayed in a room named Helvellyn and Expedia didn’t state any issues with any rooms. If we had booked direct with the queens head it details the room helvellyn as having issues with noise etc due to it’s proximity to the kitchen. I think Expedia have been misleading not detailing the facts about that particular...

”A stunning hotel in an incredible location right on the lake, with breathtaking views throughout. The rooms, facilities and overall standard of the resort were excellent, but the real standout was the staff. Everyone was genuinely friendly, attentive and welcoming, which made the stay feel even more special. Would definitely recommend Low Wood Bay and would happily return.”
