”This hotel was clean, with friendly staff. It is outdated and could use some remodeling. The front desk clerks were friendly and helpful. Our keys didn't work initially - a quick visit resulted in an easy fix. The breakfast is what you would expect, only issue was the waffle iron was broken, so not an option unfortunately. Beds were not super comfortable, but fine for a 1-2 night stay. Anything longer and it may have become an issue for back problems.”

”Be aware there are no elevators. We knew this but our room was on the third floor, basicly the attic, and we are both in our 70s. The air conditioner was noisy so tough to sleep. It served the purpose as we were attending a funeral in the area.”

”Room wasn't available when I arrived. Was called earlier in the day to confirm reservation that was prepaid almost 3 months earlier. Breakfast was terrible. No orange juice the first day, no apple juice or orange juice the second day. I wouldn't recommend this motel to anyone!!”

”Great parking, good hotel to stay”

”We expected a room with a tub, but the last available room didn’t have one. The room available was very pricey for its size. We decided not to stay. The highlight of our time was interacting with Jenna at the desk, she was extremely kind and very professional. Based on our experience with her we will consider returning on another occasion. We mainly wanted to have one night away, as we live close and our wedding anniversary is this weekend.”

”The Lafayette Inn is a beautiful mansion, with lovely gardens, a welcoming entry and living area and fabulous staff. We were very pleased with our 3-night stay. Breakfast options were plenty and Kristen prepared the egg bites and pastries to perfection. The snacks, cookies, coffee, filtered water were amenities not often scene. The king room was comfortable and roomy. We highly recommend the Inn.”

”Fruit was old & low/out of protein selection , $3.50 to use the dryer for 30 minutes. Never communicated to Expedia regarding my stay length correction.”

”A beautifully maintained hotel that was a great place to spend the night. We stayed in the tower with two and adults and two kids and was great to have three different levels, including the sitting room at the top with windows all around. The snacks in the communal sitting area was much appreciated and breakfast was very nice.”

”I have been staying at the Globe, on and off, for over 10 years and I have never been disappointed. It is much more interesting than your typical "Hotel McMuffin" (Don't expect new and modern just interesting and comfortable.) The current, new management team has worked hard to keep it special. (The free, made to order breakfast, is just icing on the cake.) The only caution I would raise is the lack of an elevator. I'm fine with two flights of narrow steps but if you're not, I would suggest...
