I booked this property through Expedia two weeks ago. Upon arrival, the staff member on duty was extremely rude while speaking on the phone, and afterward made mocking remarks about another guest—saying, “I’ve checked them in so their card is getting charged,” then laughed.
Shortly after, I realized there was an error between Expedia’s time frames and the hotel’s booking system: my reservation had been processed for the wrong night (the previous night instead of the intended date). When I tried to resolve the issue, the hotel staff told me it was my problem, insisted the booking was non-refundable, and told me to take it up with Expedia. When I contacted Expedia they told me they could not do anything because I was also checked in and check-in was not for 11 days.
Between the unprofessional behavior and refusal to assist with a genuine booking error, this experience felt dishonest and dismissive. Buyer beware.
