”Clean room! Hot water! Comfy bed & feather pillows! I don’t care about an outdated pink bathtub, it was huge. I would stay again. One thing is the cali tram is right out the window yet I still slept hard.”

”A true gem! We enjoyed our stay very much. You feel you' ve stepped back in tme while enjoying modernity ( japanese toilets!!!). The breakfast was simply exceptional . Now my favorite place to stay in SF, in the safe a d beautiful Pacific Heights district”

”Good and basic motel. Location was convenient for us as it was right next to Chestnut for restaurants and bars, not too far from Fishersmans Wharf and right on Lombard which allowed easy access to the city with car. The room itself was big enough with fridge and microwave. WiFi was free but connection wasn't that good all the time. Free parking was nice and space was easy to have every night (stayed for a week). With the price we paid I'd definately recommend this place.”

”This hotel is like from a film noir movie! The feeling is that not too much has changed in this place after the 50s or so (except that there’s wi-fi). Which is actually really cool, if you can live with the fact that the bathroom is down the hallway. I really liked the overall feel of the hotel. Be aware that the hotel is in a rough part of the city so there are homeless people and occassionally a bit of noise. Nothing too bad, though. ”It has good location on quiet street. Free parking. Excellent service on front desk. The hotel was dated, but pretty clean. Earplugs are must. Breakfast is free, it includes coffee, bread, eggs and cereals. The hotel bit pricey for value, but i think in SF it might be difficult to find good hotels for decent price. Overall this is OK place for few days stay ”
