”Our family of four (plus 2 dogs) have the BEST long weekend here! The creek was absolutely perfect and we all had a blast kayaking up and down the creek! The creekbed is quite slippy so maybe not best for little little kids but our 5 and 11 year olds had the best weekend ever!The kitchen was equipped with just about all the necessities and there the Trout Run Grocery 5 minutes down the road has some odds and ends you might have forgotten to pack.We definitely hope to come back!”

”Absolutely loved my stay. If you’re an animal lover who is looking to check out of the daily grind, connect with nature, all while staying at the most unique and cozy place ever….then this. Is. It. The owner was so kind and gracious, the horses were amazing, the ponies outside the kitchen window were nothing like I’ve ever experienced. I will be coming back!!!!! ”Communication with Katherine was nonexistent. She messaged me 4 days before our arrival with the lockbox code, but that was it. I replied the same day with a follow-up question - no response. I sent a message the day we arrived saying we could not stay there due to the conditions inside the house - no response. ”We had a wonderful time and everything was as expected, if not better. They left us some basic milk, eggs, butter and homemade bread that we really appreciated. The home was very clean and peaceful with nice little click-clacks of the amish buggies going by every once in a while. We will definitely be going back! Wonderful hosts and easy to communicate with as well!”

”We stayed here for Bucknell Parent's Weekend with our three younger children and one friend (ages 9-17). The home is spacious and clean and is located directly across from the main campground hall and office. It is between a 15-20 minute drive to Bucknell - on local roads. The house has the basics, including linens, which was a nice bonus for a short weekend stay. The owner/manager was communicative and helpful. ”
