”The house was very clean and comfortable for our group of 4 adults and 3 kids. The decks were lovely and we made good use of the outdoor fireplace and hot tub!”

”This cabin was a wonderful place to stay! It was quiet except for the sound of birds in the woods. The interior of the cabin was clean and well furnished; the bed was especially comfortable. While we didn't make use of the fire pit, the screened porch was our favorite place to sit day or night. Although it might have been too early for them, we felt relaxed on the porch knowing we wouldn't be attacked by mosquitoes or other bugs. It was easy to take our dog out for a walk on the back roads...

”Little Oatlands was the perfect place for our outdoor wedding and we’re very happy we chose it. If you are planning to do the same, and have family stay in the guest house for the weekend, read the contract *carefully*. We skimmed it and failed to realize that you’ll need to take all trash bags to the dumpster by the barn and strip all of the bed sheets and put them downstairs, etc…”

”This was honestly everything we hoped it would be! Beautiful landscape, river access, plenty of space at the Captains Lodge to relax and enjoy yourself or play games with the family. We enjoyed the entire stay! Internet was not great, but also we were fine with unplugging and just enjoying the nature. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys playing in the river and having BBQ and campfires with the comfort of an amazing house to rest your head (:”

”The location was minutes from Skyline Drive and we were close to tons of hiking. Front and back yard were both fenced and great for my niece and my dogs. House was super clean and had everything we needed. Only suggestion is a bigger couch or more seating in the living room. It was a little tight trying to relax at night in front of the TV.”

”Great 3 Bedroom house with large open kitchen/living room/dining room. Went with my Bro and Mom who love horses which delightfully we could see from the living room and outdoor dining table! Kristiana was lovely and found time for us even while competing (and winning!) in the local Horse show. Gorgeous neighborhood close to town and local winery's. Can't wait to go back! ”We were traveling to the area for an AKC event, and stayed for three nights prior to Thanksgiving. Matt's house was the perfect home base location! Loved the moutain setting while still being convenient to the places we need to travel to. House was beautiful and clean, and we loved watching the deer roam the property. Second time staying at one of Matt's properties, and neither disappointed!”
